I'm back!

For now... I'm headed out again on friday to my Grandparent's house but that should be short. I'm quite happy to be home, even if I don't get to sleep in my own bed tonight (we have family over babysitting my brother while my parents came and got me and I think that sentence is a grammatical nightmare) Access to a reliable computer that doesn't take forever to boot will be nice (Rose has a screwy network) So yeah, that's me for the moment.

Wierd (and I spell it that way on purpose)

Yesterday was odd. Mostly it was sitting around in a lab that didn't work waiting for it to work because all we were supposed to do yesterday was type our papers. Oh, and we played bingo and it turned in to just goofing off and I heard the stupidest joke I've ever heard although it supposedly makes sense if you get it (figure THAT one out) Anyways, the funniest thing happened to me yesterday. Ok, probably not "the funniest thing" but it was pretty funny. Me and a couple of other guys ordered pizza, 3 one topping pizzas for 5 bucks each, Domino's. It was good when I finally got it, but the first time the guy delivered, he delivered 2 pizzas, a box of breadsticks one of the other guys ordered, and, yes, an empty pizza box. It was downright incredible, no pizza had even ever touched the box. I got my pizza 15 minutes later, so it's all good, humour and pizza are definitely a good combination.

schlump

Yeah, we've all kinda been in a schlump, not a whole lot goin on. We're typin up reports, finishing posters and thinking about how best to ad lib an elevator speech (My group isn't but a lot are) Evenins seem to be fairly quiet, with the junk food down to cruddy popcorn and worse soda, things seem to be winding down. I'll be home soon and that'll be nice. Though apparently I won't be sleeping in my bed -.-

I have no clue what I did on saturday. Ok, I remember Adam being irritated about something during project time, no, wait, that was Friday. I have no clue what I did on saturday EDIT: ok, for some reason the rest of this post was murdered by teh interlag. :P So I'm editing and adding. I still don't know what I did Saturday, not a clue, But I remember the blissful sleep of sunday, and yesterday. Ok, not much yester day but a little more than usual. Um yeah, the last couple days have been eventless pretty much.

Corinth is makin a comeback!

Err, yeah, that's our team name sorry. But I'm happy because other people are happy. I don't care about winning so much but depressed/angry people are irritating/not fun to be around. Thus I am quite happy that winning kickball and volleyball has boosted team morale. I have no clue what we're playing today but I'm sure I'll enjoy it. And people just walked in so I shall go find somehwere else that is relatively quiet.

brrrr...

Ice is cold. Blankets are warm unless they are wet. Wet blankets are cold. All blankets are insulators. Wet blankets keep ice cold. Ice makes people cold. Wet blankets keep ice and people cold. Thus my unappreciativeness for being woken up with a bucket of ice. (ok, so I did oversleep a little, it wasn't THAT much, won't be doing it again though) I played soccer yesterday with my team. Yes they divided us into teams because... nevermind I don't know why. Today we play kickball (and undoubtedly will provide another win to some other worthy cause) oh, and nylon get's old fast but our strongest string so far held over 120g (don't remember the exact number) so yeah, I guess.

Caving+Volleyball=fun

While I didn't do both in the same day, both were incredibly fun. and dirty: my tennis shoes will probably not be their original color for some time. And I realized this morning (after missing breakfast again because my alarm wasn't on) that I didn't buy what I meant to buy at Wal-Mart last night: socks. All well, there might be another run tonight. Now, let's go see if that nylon is no longer covered in hydrochloric acid mmmkay?

Did the alarm go off already?

Wow... I might need to find out where the caffeinated drinks are, or jump on a Wal-Mart run. This morning I woke up at 8:12. That's not good since breakfast is over at 8:15 and the mornin meetin starts at 8:30. So, ok chewy bar for breakfast to reminisce on yesterday... I can deal with that. But not for long if I keep up the attempted 7-2 days. Managing ones time is definitely a key skill in college (I'll bet some people think sleeping in class is too)

It's summer...

not. Ok, I've been out of school for 3ish weeks now. I think I've been home for 5 days. First we went to Maryland to visit relatives and a cousin who's graduatin. Everybody who knows about this blog might've known that already but I don't care: I'm venting. Now I'm at Operation Catapult, a college camp type thing at Rose-Hulman. I've met some interesting folk so far and I think I'll enjoy myself. That doesn't change the fact that it's not home. So while I shall enjoy this, it is so not what I had in mind. All well, July shall be interesting.

Whoa, I didn't know they had insane asylum's online

I'm back. I don't know that I went anywhere besides school since my last post but I'm back anyways. I suppose I was at a friends house last night. We watched 3 movies, not necessarily in this order: Without a Clue which is a hilarious parody of Sherlock Holmes, Blazing Saddles which was awesome crude humour aside, and History of the World Part 1, which, well, is probably the 3rd worst movie I've ever seen (BattleField Earth and Plan 9 From Outerspace anyone?) because of all the crude humour in it but it was humour and so we had a good time watching it anyways. Well, actually Rico (not his real name but he has answered to it) tried to wipe the memory of this portrayal of the last supper from his mind, but we're good friends *grins maniacally* we'd never let that happen. And now to the title of the post: yes, there are insane asylums online. They take the form of message boards. I have never seen so much randomness in one place. Maybe I can make myself at home in one.

"Swamp" was a good choice

Do you know why swamp was a good choice? Because swamps get stagnant and I haven't posted for over 2 months. Dunno who all reads this. Probably just my folks at the moment, and maybe some other family members. If you read this and haven't already commented and you don't think I know you read it: feel free to comment, I won't bite. No seriously, I have a toothache so I won't bite you till that gets better. Hey, there's a play tomorrow. oh. yeah. I'm in it. So if y'aren't busy, drop on by and see: The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood. Odd's are you probably already know about it or live in a different state. Because odds are you know me and if you know me you probably either go to school, went to school, or know about the school. So good night to you all, I'm going to go avoid my book report elsewhere.

P.S. Urban Dead is an awesome game, much thanks to the friend who made it known to me.

I hate being sick

Who doesn't? It's exhausting, painful, and not healthy (well there's a no-brainer) But I suppose it could be worse. I don't have pneumonia or anything, or that nasty stomach bug that's apparently going around at school. Being sick also means makeup work XD. Well, at least I'm on top of it (as much as can be expected anyways).

May you be found in good health

hey, wait a minute: when did 2007 get here?

I'm sure it hasn't been here THAT long. Ok, maybe a month and a half, but has time really gone that fast? It feels like Christmas break was just yesterday. Well, basketball season is over so I shall no longer be exhausted on a nightly basis and I will have my homework and freetime under control. My only real complaint is that Debate is causing me to be extremely apathetic. (yes you read that right: it's not my fault I'm apathetic, or at least I'm not taking responsibility for it) Well, I'm going to complete what I can of my calc and go to that wonderful place where reality is simply another element of the story: sleep.
