schlump
Yeah, we've all kinda been in a schlump, not a whole lot goin on. We're typin up reports, finishing posters and thinking about how best to ad lib an elevator speech (My group isn't but a lot are) Evenins seem to be fairly quiet, with the junk food down to cruddy popcorn and worse soda, things seem to be winding down. I'll be home soon and that'll be nice. Though apparently I won't be sleeping in my bed -.-

Why are the already teaching you about elevator speeches?
That is usually reserved for folks doing a career transition. Perhaps Rose is already emphasizing the lifelong importance of networking with your peers, co-workers, and friends.... but it seems a bit out of place at a High School summer camp.
